Known by locals as the Brickies, the Bricklayers Arms has seen many changes over the years and offers a warm welcome to the friendly family pub on the edge of Downley common. The new front beer garden provides a welcoming and safe area for all the family and their four legged friends to enjoy a relaxing drink in the sun. You'll often find a bouncy castle in use, inside or in the beer garden, if it's not,you just need to ask as they can usually set it up on request. The pub offers a varied menu for lunch and evening meals with daily specials and intends to start theme nights every Friday. No cask ales on offer at the moment but Rebellion Brewery's bright ales from mini barrels are usually available.
