Re-opened and dramatically improved after a period of closure. Previously a Charles Wells pub but now a free house. U-shaped open plan bar with pool table and 'darts room'. Breakfast served 0800 - 1300 on Fridays and 0900 - 1300 on Saturdays. Locally valued therefore listed as an asset of community value. From Wikipedia: New Zealand is a hamlet in the civil parish of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England, on the A413 heading out to the north of Aylesbury town centre. It has been swallowed up by the urban growth of Aylesbury, but the public house of the same name remains today. It gained its name from a breed of cow that was supposedly farmed there.
