Previously a coaching inn owned by Morlands, now owned by Greene King but free of tie. The landlord has beers from breweries within about 30 miles. Local cider is usually available in the spring, summer and autumn. The carpark is at the rear. Disabled access is limited as there are steps inside to the central area. There is a good menu with burgers and baguettes. Monday opening in the summer, is at 12 noon.
