See more about this pub on CAMRA's national web site

A popular, welcoming village pub converted from three artisan cottages dating from the 16th century. It has a restaurant and a bar, and drinking/eating areas with real fires, plus a covered outside area. The Fox shares its name with a book by D.H. Lawrence, who briefly lived in the village at the end of World War 1. Traditional, home-cooked food is available in generous portions. Dogs are welcome except in the restaurant area. The main bar areas can be reserved for private functions.
