Reopened in 2013 as a community run pub after being listed as an asset of community value. Dark oak beams, wooden panelling and exposed brick with framed hunting and fishing prints give the pub a traditional feel. This is offset by the well lit, brand new pale wood bar with four handpumps for local ales. Monthly quiz, book group and music / jam nights. A log fire is usually burning during winter months. Check the community noticeboard just outside the entrance for local events. Bed and Breakfast accommodation is available. Closed Mondays.
