Friendly and comfortable, traditional-looking pub divided into a number of small areas in a rambling interior over different levels. There is a small bar area and a large outdoor terrace with fine views. Popular with walkers on Boars Hill. At one time a Greenalls Whitley pub. Under new ownership and management several times, most recently March 2022. Refurbished early 2022. Closed again. Reopened June 2024 but not much info - most of the website doesn't work and none of the Facebook pages (3) are up to date.
