Originally a private house and dates in part from 1782. A pub by early C19 and named after the 6 bells in St Andrew's Church. Easy to find near the London Road roundabout. Extensively refurbished September 2018, including cellar and toilets. Has a number of separate seating areas and an L-shaped bar. Sold by Greene King, apparently to an investor, early 2025 and currently being run as an independent with a small menu of of pub classics plus two curries served all day (except Tuesdays).
