The Swan dates from the late 17th century and stands on the banks of the Thames next to Radcot Bridge which claims to be the oldest existing Thames crossing.. It comprises a small, neat front bar with a log fire, and a restaurant to the rear. Bought by the Old Forge Brewery in summer 2017 and given a makeover including the garden although the Old Forge Brewery is dormant at the moment. Note the displays of (stuffed) fish caught in the river. There are permanent and visitor boat moorings and camping for tents and caravans on the island. Summer opening times shown. Web site and FB page are not up to date.
