Under new management since Nov 2022. A traditional two-bar pub half a mile south of the village. Apart from Greene King IPA there is one Greene King guest. The wood panelled lounge is more of of a dining area and has a log fires in winter. The larger public bar has park floorings. Outside is a large, fenced beer garden with a petanque pitch and childrens play area. Pub serves selection of Indian food including sizzling sizzlers, freshly homemade curries and traditional pub grub, including Sunday roast. Every Sunday there is a exclusive Indian lunch buffet unlimited eat as much as you can from12pm to 3 pm.
