Reopened in August 2020 with new owner, and branded as a "Riverside Inn and Restaurant". This very pleasant hostelry comprises a lower bar area as you enter, refurbished to give a cosy and comfortable feel, with flagstone floors and exposed brick walls. Steps at the back go up to a larger restaurant area with a classic and modern British menu and great views over the river. Although food-oriented, drinkers are welcome in the bar area and also on the large outside terrace that opens out onto the riverside.

Note that the Wainwright Gold is not cask conditioned.

Popular with the boating fraternity, with a variety of boats available for private hire. Guests arriving by boat should call ahead to confirm their reservation and mooring space.

Ferryman's Cottage, set within the pub grounds, has been renovated into accommodation with four contemporary, but quirky, suites.
