A traditional country pub serving 1 or 2 cask ales, it retains a small snug bar at the centre of the pub which is flanked by two rooms predominantly used for dining.

New tenants since April 2026 having closed in December 2025.

Previously reopened in July 2024 having closed in May 2024 during which time new tenants renovated the garden to make an extensive, but lovely and inviting outdoor space. There is also a newly refurbished and very welcoming courtyard space, with lots of attractive planters and outdoor decoration.
