The pub is at the far end of the village from the rail station. There is a rear garden. Extended benches with umbrellas are located in the front of the pub. The bar area features low beams, wood panelling, flagstone floor and a pool table. Refurbished in June 2026.

Street food trucks are in attendance Monday, Tuesday and Sunday evenings. Happy hour Mondays 6-8pm.
