Comfortable country pub/restaurant set back from the road on the village green.

Although mainly a dining pub, drinkers are welcome throughout and there is a main bar area to the right on entering the pub. Up to three cask-conditioned ales are available, often featuring beers from local breweries such as Loddon and Rebellion. The pub has a down to earth unpretentious feel to it, and although the areas to the left and beyond the bar are set up mainly for diners, drinkers are also welcome to use the tables as well.

The food menu is very interesting and quite different from the normal pub classics fare, often featuring specials with a Mediterranean twist. There is also an excellent Spanish tapas menu, which can be served either as small tapas dishes or larger portions as a starter. The pub prides itself on using seasonal and local produce wherever possible and all the food is freshly prepared on site. In addition to the a la carte menu, there is also a pizza menu, children's menu and a Sunday lunch menu.
