Closed on Thursday 10 September 2026 along with all the remaining Beefeater outlets throughout the UK as part of Whitbread's plan to close all their pubs.

As of 12 September it is still listed for sale on the Christie & Co's website.

It may become the food and drinks outlet solely for the adjacent Premier Inn (owned by Whitbread).

Essentially it was a restaurant in the Beefeater brand but you could visit it for drinks.

Opened for breakfast, then lunch through to dinner.

Alcoholic drinks were served from 11.30am except for Sundays when it was from 12noon.
