A delightful pub in remote, unspoilt countryside. The bar is small, cosy and welcoming, complemented by picturesque gardens. Handpumps dispense three beers from West Berkshire's Indigenous Brewery. Bar food is available. A restaurant adjoins the bar. The location makes this a convenient stop-off for walkers and cyclists, especially at weekends. Reopened 16 September 2019 after major refurbishment. Shut from 8 January 2024 for renovations. Reopening in Spring 2024.
