A friendly former coaching inn, refitted in August 2015, giving the inside a cleaner brighter look. The large TVs in both bars are a big draw for all sports fans. Outside there is a new large wooden covered area with heaters that is well ventilated. During big sporting events, a couple of TV are installed outside. Wholesome food is served at lunchtimes and evenings (all day at the weekend), with a daily specials board. Prices are up a little since the refit. Sunday is quiz night. Free Wi-Fi is available. The largest part of the pub which can be hired for functions is the very old and attractive 'barn' accessible from the main bar. See pub web-site for pictures.
