Formerly a coaching inn dating from the 15th century, the Crown & Cushion is now a 40 bedroom hotel. There is a bar with tables for bar meals, and a separate restaurant known for its legendary Sunday carvery and Saturday grill nights. The TV in the bar is used for major sporting events only. Outside, a courtyard garden leads to the car park and heated indoor swimming pool, gym and squash court (enquire at reception). It was once owned by Keith Moon of The Who.
