Village pub, with a large garden, offering three or four cask beers and meals from a varied and interesting menu. Outside is a large beer garden with covered pods for rainy days. Live music and other events are held, such as Oktoberfest and the Fringe Festival in August. It’s here that the founding members of Fairport Convention met in their early days in the 1970s to plan their annual music festival held in August. It attracts thousands of visitors.
