The pub is a glorious rural gem with one unspoilt simply appointed bar at its heart. The pub has no hand pumps, with two Hook Norton ales poured directly from the casks and severed from a small room behind the bar. This is a pub for conversation around the small bar or by the fire. The walls are adorned with memorabilia gathered throughout the years. The bar is for adults only; children are welcome in the garden, but dogs are not allowed. Open Thursday and Friday evening, Saturday and Sunday afternoon, and times can be variable so it's best to call ahead.
