A traditional pub in a good location close to the centre of town. With pleasant ambiance, the log fire on cold days adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The bar area is a good place to sample up to six cask ales, many from local breweries, and also local craft beers. Some beers may be from The Dead Brewers Society, which produces beers from breweries that have gone out of existence. There is a large outdoor seating area and a permanent marquee. The outdoor barn is where The Pizza Boys have their pop up restaurant on Wednesday and Friday from 5pm.
