Traditional English pub with an emphasis on cask ale and home cooked food. Up to six ales from Fullers and other breweries are available. The bar serves three separate areas, all with flagstones, beams and log fires, with an airy restaurant and function room to the rear. The large fireplace warms the main bar area in winter and is an excellent place to relax. The pub is a popular meeting place for discerning drinkers and visitors to the adjacent theatre.
