The White House is a community owned pub, that was relaunched in Oct 2020. It is no longer tied to Greene King, and as a free house, has a selection of great beer. Large bar area with landscaped patio garden and benches looking out towards the road. This is the pub where Winston Churchill allegedly learned to drink, and you can sample your pint whilst sitting in Winston's drinking corner.
