Attractive C18 stone pub, with later additions and extensions, opposite the village church. Inside there are flagstones, bare wooden floors and exposed beams abound in the many different areas, together with interesting and quirky items of decoration. Gastro-food, pub meals and Sunday Lunches feature, and drinker is far from forgotten with the bar supporting handpumps and an array of taps for keg ciders and beers. There's a monthly curry night on the first Wednesday (see Facebook). Children and are dogs welcome.
