Dating from 1772 and originally a house, this multi-roomed thatched village inn offers a warm welcome with an inglenook fireplace, billiards room, and a large garden with patio to the rear for alfresco dining and drinking. A genuine free house serving three ales, one regular and two changing. There is a good food offering with as much as possible locally sourced, and freshly prepared by the chef, who is the owner's son. Families, walkers and four-legged friends are welcome.
