See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Situated in the pretty village of Holyport, set back from the green and overlooking the pond this food lead pub has a pleasant drinkers area. The Belgian Arms was recently renovated by the new owners Michelin star Chef, Dominic Chapman and Restauranteur, Nick Parkinson. The pub is over 200 years old & prior to the First World War was known as 'The Eagle'. During the war the prisoner of war camp was in Holyport Street and the Prussians used to march past and salute the Eagle. Many of the local villagers fought in Belgium and therefore it was decided to rename the pub 'The Belgian Arms'.
