Refurbished by Hall and Woodhouse, this large pub/diner has a country house feel with oak panelling and shelving packed with interesting books. There is a separate drinking area. A green oak timber conservatory restaurant opens on to a patio and garden. Meals and snacks, including vegetarian, are served all day. The Uxbridge to Slough bus stops outside (last bus approx. 8pm, now with an hourly Sunday service).
