A real locals pub, fully-engaged with its local community; children and dogs are welcome. Large interior, all on one level around a central bar, but with three distinct areas, one of which is the "Sports Bar". Large covered patio to rear with large grassed area beyond including children's play area; both have ample tables and seating. Garden events in summertime. The pub has three handpumps, although currently only two beers available, from Greene King and Morland.
