The pub was built in around 1815 and still retains some old thatched outbuildings which house the Gents. The rear garden is permanently covered by a marquee, so Aunt Sally is played under cover, and this large, heated area is available for hire. Reopened with a new tenant June 2023. A refurbishment has knocked the original lounge and public bar into one large room.
