See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Originally Jericho House. Rebuilt early 19th century with the Jericho Brewery next door. Sold in 1871 to Morrells who closed the brewery. A famous Oxford music venue - many big-name bands (Radiohead, Supergrass started here) have played (and still do play) in the upstairs room. The bar downstairs is decorated in dark hues, and the atmosphere is always vibrant. There is a large garden at the rear with some covered seating. The pub is said to be haunted by the ghost of a small boy who sits on the bar!
