A former bakery, this small, open-plan local facing the green at Lower Wolvercote was possibly also once a blacksmith's. Since 2014 it has been a community-run pub with a welcoming and family-friendly feel. It serves three or four regularly changing local ales. Food is available on Wednesday to Friday evenings and Sunday brunch is offered. The pub hosts regular music nights featuring jazz, sea-shanties, and Irish folk.
